What are your name/s and what do you do? How many years have you been in business?
Lewis Templar from TEMPLAR PHOTOGRAPHIC est. 2005

Tell us about why you decided to do what you do?
I am fascinated by the art of communication through image.

What do you love most about your business?
It’s a choice, not an occupation.

What do you want people to remember about the service you provide?
Good people, good prices.

Tell us about yourselves. What are your hobbies? What is one fun fact about you?
I am obsessed with becoming a film maker, and it has pushed all my other hobbies (rock climbing, MTB, Outdoors, Travel) aside in the last few years.

If you could pick one word that describes you/your business, what would it be?

Share your favourite photo of you or your work? Describe why this is your favourite?

This is one of the only photos of me working. This is the nature of being behind the camera.

What would be your top tip for new Brides and Grooms planning their big day?

Check out a recent video from a ceremony I worked with Next Chapter Ceremonies for:

TEMPLAR PHOTOGRAPHIC is a hobby business that helps me supplement other camera work I take on, on my quest to be an eccentric film maker. I’ve been at it since 2009, transition to video came in 2013. My business may be small but it allows me to take on interesting projects.
Since leaving my job in Melbourne as an Aerial DOP (for Swarm UAV) I am now taking on higher education and plan to release a few more documentaries, produced on higher budgets, over the coming years.
I’m just a man with a dream, and Templar Photographic is the vehicle to take me there.
