Where and when did you get married??
October 1st at Black Swan Park in Cotton Tree

What made you choose your location and was it everything you expected??Ceremony Cotton Tree

The view!! It was just such a stunning outlook and close to our reception venue at The Boat Shed.  http://www.boatshed.net.au

When you think back to your wedding day, what’s the one thing that you loved the most (apart from marrying your hubby!!)??

I loved that the theme suited my personality- I wasn’t stressed  about being formal and traditional. I wore red and it was relaxed and informal.

Your wedding day was wonderful, but if there was one thing/detail you could change about it, what would it be???

I would have gotten more photos with extended family

What was the best advice you received whilst planning that helped you?

Make sure that your wedding is what you and you future hubby wants – not what everyone else expects or wants

Please share your top 3 tips for future brides to make the most of the planning and the experience of their big day?

1. Look for smaller local vendors that may be cheaper and have more unique individual stuff – a bonus is you are supporting local businesses!!

2. Don’t be afraid to do what you want – there is no right or wrong way to do it – just make sure you and your partner are getting what you want out of your wedding day

3. At the end of the day all you have after your wedding (besides a hubby and great memories) are the photos – so make sure you find a photographer that understands you and what you are wanting to achieve- and just cause it costs more does not mean you will get better photos!!
