Rennique & Nathan’s Wedding at Vue De Lumieres share their tip with their Celebrant Maleny.
Where and when did you get married?
Married on 6th October 2016 at Vue De Lumieres
What made you choose your location and was it everything you expected??
During the planning I saw a lot of venues over the sunshine coast area and I stumbled across my chosen venue on facebook advertising for open house and as I arrived I was taken away by the view and how beautiful it was.
What made it more for me were definitely the owners who from the get go are so lovely and made me feel so comfortable and I liked that I could make the venue into our own style.
When you think back to your wedding day, what’s the one thing that you loved the most?
The one thing I loved the most about my wedding day is that everything seemed to fall into place and that we both had been surrounded by our loved ones.
Your wedding day was wonderful, but if there was one thing/detail you could change about it, what would it be???
More time. I feel as though we should have made our wedding day longer it seemed to go so quickly specially when came to catching photos before the sun went down.
Share your best advice received whilst planning that helped you?
Make list of things you need to do or follow a checklist!
I feel as though checklist became my guide specially a week before the wedding.
Please share your top 3 tips for future brides to make the most of the planning and the experience of their big maleny day?
- Research and attend bridal expos. Expos are great for meeting one on one and get a sense of who you will be working with. I found I surrounded ourselves around suppliers who made us comfortable and feel special.
2. Don’t stress over what people may think of your wedding day. You can get so caught on everyone’s opinion but in the end everything fell into place. The stress I caused on myself a week before the wedding was really unnecessary, just chill.
3. Factor in time for photos before sundown and make sure you have a list of important photos you wish to have on your wedding day.
Thank you so much for sharing with your celebrant maleny 🙂
